About 16-17 minutes after the lift off, the home grown rocket was to have injected the EOS-N1
and other satellites into the desired orbit.
But due to the anomaly noticed after the third stage, satellites could not be separated and
injected into the Sun Synchronous Orbit, besides the Spanish KID capsule, into a re-entry
trajectory.
This is the first launch for ISRO this New Year and this is the 64th flight of PSLV and the fifth
mission of PSLV-DL variant with two strap-on boosters, but it proved unsuccessful.
This mission is significant as it marks ISRO's "Return to Flight" for the PSLV after a technical
anomaly during the PSLV-C61/EOS-09 mission in May 2025.
